New Climbing Frame!

Itchen Abbas Primary School officially opened its new playground equipment today!

The final design of the climbing frame, which was installed by Made2Play, was chosen by the school council (made up of pupils from all year groups).

The project could not have happened without the kind support of parents and the local community. It has been two years of fundraising; baking cakes and running stalls. All of those raffle donations from local businesses and all the wider families or friends who attended our events… every one of you played a vital part. THANK YOU!

We also give special heartfelt thanks to the Alresford Pigs AssociationAlresford Rotary Club and local business owner Michael Morris (Omnimed). Each of them gave directly to this project. Their incredible generosity this Summer helped us get over the line so much sooner than we could have hoped.

It all means that the children finally have that outdoor climbing frame they’ve craved for so long! We wanted to share their card… presented to the IAP at today’s opening and accepted on behalf of all of you ❤️
